300: Rise of an Empire Trailer has been launched on the internet and receiving good response so far. The first trailer for the sequel to the 2006 epic, 300, has been released. Based on the Frank Miller graphic novel, Xerxes, the plot will expand on the Battle of Thermopylae from 300 and explore the Rodrigo Santoro's character as he evolves from King to God. Director Noam Murro told MTV, "The idea of this movie was always that it takes place at about the same time of the first one.
