A red convertible from a Tarantino cult classic has been found almost twenty years after it was originally reported as stolen.
The red 1964 Chevelle Malibu driven by John Travolta in 'Pulp Fiction' was found near Oakland, CA over the weekend.
The vehicle, which was owned by director Quentin Tarantino, was reported stolen in 1994 shortly after the film's release.

Authorities actually discovered the stolen vehicle while they were investigating the theft of another Malibu
Sheriff sergeant Albert Anolin said the police were investigating another stolen Malibu in the city of Victorville, which in turn led them to discover the legendary Hollywood vehicle.
According to reports the VIN was either changed or cloned.
Officials from the sheriff's department do not believe the car's current owner was involved and instead may be a victim of fraud.

The authorities were also looking to get a message to Tarantino about the car's recovery.
Hit man Travolta spends much of the movie behind the wheel of the Malibu, most famously right before Uma Thurman overdoses on heroin.
'Pulp Fiction' is often credited by film buffs for introducing indie films into the mainstream.
Tarantino's most recent film 'Django Unchained' recently won two Academy Awards and became his highest-grossing film to date.
