While the rest of the woman at Coachella strip down to tiny shorts and midrift tops, Jessica Alba is content to buck the trend.
Despite regularly being voted one of the hottest women in the world, Jessica covered up as she hit the annual music festival in Indio, near Palm Springs, California.
Temperatures regularly hit 100 degrees during the festival but the star was not going to let that stop her going for a far more polished look than the rest of her festival goers on Friday.

The 31-year-old donned a long black skirt with a white long tank and a black cardigan.
Jessica did later ditch the cardigan as temperatures started to rise but she had also accessorised with colder weather in mind, wearing heavy three-quarter length black high heeled boots.
The Blue Crush star also added a hippie sling bag to the less than festival ready look.

Letting her natural beauty shine through, the 31-year-old wore little make-up and let her hair loosely fall around her face showing off its ombre tones.
Jessica was joined by a large group of friends for the second week of the event including husband Cash Warren.
Cash seemed to be having a ball, laughing and messing around with a friend while Jessica trailed behind chatting to another woman.

Clearly the couple were treating themselves to a child free getaway with their young daughters, Haven and Honor, not with the pair.
Having a break from mummy duties Jessica looked relaxed as she and friends prepared to see some of the dozens of top bands.
The second weekend of the music festival kicked off with bands such as Blur, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Modest Mouse, Johnny Marr, Jake Bugg, Passion Pit, Tegan and Sara, Of Monsters and Men, Purity Ring, Grinderman and Alt-J.

While the first weekend - which features the same line-up - attracted a plethora of stars the second has far less parties and so less stars make the trip into the desert.
Joining Jessica was Mischa Barton, Tara Ried, socialite Paris Hilton - who also attended week one, actress Hayley Hasselhoff and Gene Simmons' son Nick.
