He may have sung once or twice in his films as a child, notably in front of the mirror in Home Alone.
But the last place anyone would expect to see Macaulay Culkin is on stage at an indie gig on a boat in Bristol singing Beach Boys.
Yet that’s exactly where the former child star was earlier this week, belting out Kokomo, when he took to the stage as Adam Green’s special guest much to the surprise of the gig goers.

Rock star: Macaulay Culkin surprised people in Bristol as he took to the stage with Adam Green
Wearing his blond hair off his face and a pair of sunglasses on his face, it’s no surprise that many failed to believe it was him.
According the star, who was dressed in a plaid shirt, shouted: ‘I’ve come all the way from America.’
Giving it his all: The actor looked right at home on stage and seemed to be enjoying himself
‘Adam said we’d recognise him from Home Alone, but still nobody believed it.
‘When he got on stage it was surreal at first, then people started realising it was him.’
Duet: The actor was helping out his pal Adam Green, who's singing partner was sick
On this occasion the famous American, who is currently in the UK, stepped in when Green’s singing partner Binki Shapiro fell ill.
Just the day after Macaulay was spotted wandering around London, mere streets away from where his ex Mila Kunis is currently staying.
Beach Boy: The star's hair was pulled off his face in a ponytail and he wore sunglasses as he sung the classic track
In the country: Macaulay was spotted taking a stroll in London the following day while smoking
When the couple split in 2011 it was reported it was due to Macaulay’s dependency on drugs.
Reports afterwards suggested that the very skinny and sick looking star was hooked on a dangerous cocktail of drugs, however his publicist fiercely denied it.
These days the actor is clearly looking better and judging by his on stage appearance, a career in singing could be in the pipeline.
