Gwen Stefani has passed her taste in clothes to her boys.
And that trait was on display in full force on Saturday as the mother and son headed to Jewel City Bowl in Glendale, California wearing cool and complimentary ensembles.
Although Gwen, 43, was comfortably bland in her well-worn denim button-down jumper, her knockout orange trainers with white shoe-laces made up for her outfit's plainness.
She wore her platinum blonde hair in a top knot and covered her eyes behind bright green-framed shades.
The No Doubt singer seemed to be in the best of spirits, flashing a red-lipsticked pearly toothed smile.
Zuma is only four years old but he may have out-dressed even his famous clotheshorse mother.
The tow-headed tot wore a
festive neon yellow shirt with black accents and black-splattered yellow
athletic shorts paired with his own cool brand of black trainers.
The little boy wore his pale blond hair loose and wavy, and sometimes it fell across his eyes, blinding him a bit, but Gwen had him by the hand and happily led the way.
Gwen's six-year-old son Kingston, who turns seven next month, tagged along on a bicycle in his cuffed jeans and white T-shirt.
It looked like Gwen wanted to spend more quality time with her boys.
The glamorous tomboy clearly enjoys all of these fun games with her children, who come first in her life now.
When she's not tending to her family, Gwen continues to brainstorm new songs for No Doubt's forthcoming seventh studio album.
Last month Gwen and her bandmates announced they were postponing their tour so they could focus on writing lyrics and music.
'We have decided to follow our
muse for the time being and focus on this new music that we don't want
to stop,' the band wrote on Facebook.
'So, we will be postponing our tour plans briefly while we endeavor to create something special and inspired.
'Our goal as a band is to share this new music with you as quickly as possible - both recorded and live on tour.'
