Ryan Cabrera likes to live dangerously - but not at the expense of his sense of humor.
The 30-year-old rocker, as part of a game, got a tattoo portrait of actor Ryan Gosling permanently inked into his right calf.
The Shine On singer was seen proudly parading the tributary tattoo on the red carpet for his special live acoustic performance at the Hyde Bellagio Nightclub in Las Vegas, on Thursday.

Permanent tribute: Cabrera unwittingly got a tattoo portrait of heartthrob Ryan Gosling on his calf for a game with his friends
Ryan was not the least bit embarrassed as he rolled up his jeans to display the homage to the Blue Valentine star.
Dressed in red velvet shoes, flamingo socks, and his signature wild mane the Take It All Away artist was every inch the carefree rock star as he positioned his calf for a variety of angles for the cameras.
'[My friends] like to play a game called tattoo roulette,' Cabrera told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, 'We blindfold each other. You get to pick a tattoo for me, and I get to pick a tattoo for you. And you don’t get to see it till they’re both done.'
In other words, the pop sensation did not know he was getting a portrait of the teen heartthrob until after the tattoo was completed.

friend and tattoo roulette cohort was slightly more fortunate - leaving
the tattoo parlor with a tame illustration of a Hershey's Kiss.
'I just think that is funny,' Cabrera said of the inked-in candy image.
Adding: 'The only rules are that it can’t be religious and it can’t offend anybody.'
When
asked whether he will show the permanent portrait to sex symbol Ryan
Gosling, Cabrera simply laughed saying: 'No, no, no, I’m not showing it
to Ryan.'
But he is certainly not modest as he admitted: 'I do show it off at the pool, though. I’m very proud of it. I consider it the Bentley of tattoos.'
The pop sensation explained why he likes his new body art: 'The best part is he (the tattoo artist) did it portrait style, so it looks like the president in silhouette.'
Although, he won't put the tattoo roulette images on his upper body, which is reserved for his more significant body art.

The singer gained national attention for dating Ashlee Simpson as well as The Hills star Audrina Patridge.
When asked about what he looks for in a woman, he said: 'Not much at all. Come say ‘hi.’ That’s quite easy... Just stand there. That’s the only game you need. Just be there.'
Meanwhile, his new record promises to be much more honest and heartfelt than his previous work.
Cabrera confessed: 'I found myself trying to write hits, and it never works.'
And so with the upcoming album he wrote from a more gut-centered place.
Cabrera said: '[T]hat’s when management and everybody was like, "These are great." So there you go.'
