Troubled Teen Mom personality Jenelle Evans was taken hospital in an ambulance on Tuesday afternoon.
It is not the first time the 21-year-old has been rushed to a medical facility for treatment, as she has cysts on her ovaries that have a history of rupturing.
The Oak Island, North Carolina native's husband Courtland Rogers said she had been bleeding and was taken for treatment on the advice of her mother.
He told Radar: 'I love Jenelle and I’m really scared for her.
'Her mom told us to get her to the hospital as fast as possible, that’s why we called the ambulance.
'Jenelle’s scared and so am I. She’s going to be fine. I love my wife.'
She later took to Twitter to give her 700,000 fans an update, saying: 'My cyst are horrible :( ...thanks @Kourtkourt910 (Courtland) for being here with me :( I can't even move my leg ughhhhhhhh.'
The hospital drama comes less than a week after shocking footage emerged of a woman believed the MTV personality snorting a crushed up painkiller.
A combination of oxycodone and paracetamol, it is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe acute pain.
A source said: 'Jenelle was on probation at the time and she bought pills from a drug dealer and crushed them up.
'The pills are Percocet, and she did not have a prescription for them.
'She could be really violent when she didn’t get her way and throw temper tantrums.
'But when she snorted the drugs she was really mellow and zoned out.'
Dressed in a T-shirt and jeans, she keeps her hair out of the way by wearing it in a bun as she inhales her drugs.
The source claims she used Percocet instead of a harder drug as she knew any traces would be out of her system in just 72 hours, which would help her avoid being caught out by any probation ordered drug tests.
In 2009 a Federal Drugs Agency advisory panel recommended that Percocet, Vicodin, and every other combination of acetaminophen with narcotic analgesics be limited in their sales.
This was because of their contributions to an alleged 400 acetaminophen related deaths in the United States each year, that were attributed to acetaminophen overdose and associated liver damage.
Meanwhile, a friend close of the MTV star says Evans is aware of the existence of the video, and thinks it is 'stupid.'
They added: 'The video was taken a long time ago, before Jenelle went to rehab and stopped doing drugs.
'She said it was stupid. She was obviously not doing great when that was shot and it was mean of someone to take that video of her.
'But now she’s better and isn’t doing drugs anymore.'
It is just the latest in a long line of drug controversies to dog the MTV personality.
Earlier this month her husband Courtland Rogers claimed she was using the heroin before she had a miscarriage in January.
He made the claims after being released on bail following a complaint she made to police he assaulted her.
Rogers
said the pair, who hail from North Carolina, had been abusing
prescription drugs when they got together last September, and things got
worse from there.
Since first appearing on MTV, Evans has been arrested seven times on charges including breaking and entering, assault, violation of probation, and possession of drugs.
She also publicly feuded with her family and other cast members and has previously been forced to give up custody of her son Jace.
Her mother, Barbara Evans, was tasked with raising the three-year-old while she received treatment in rehab.
