Low-key celebrations: Suri Cruise takes a stroll in the park with mum Katie Holmes on her seventh birthday

She's the pampered daughter of two A-list Hollywood stars, who appears to get everything she ever wants.
But Suri Cruise seemed happy to be celebrating her seventh birthday with a simple stroll through a New York park on Thursday, accompanied by mum Katie Holmes and grandmother Kathleen.
Smiling as she took in the surroundings, the little one looked laid back and pleased to be spending the special day with her nearest and dearest.

The youngster, who was visited by her father Tom Cruise the week before, looked cute in her birthday attire, pairing a black dress with a buttoned up white cardigan.
At one point she put on a floppy sun hat over her mane of dark hair, to protect her pale complexion from the sun as it peeked out from behind the clouds.
Clearly close to her grandmother, Suri clung tightly onto her arm as they took their stroll through the upstate park, and seemed to love the affection that she was being lavished with.

In need of a little sugar, the youngster was given a lollipop as she walked along, listening as Katie and her mum chatted away to each other.
Katie, 34, looked equally laid back and relaxed for the daytime jaunt, wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and a loose-fitting cream cardigan.
The down-to-earth actress went make-up free as usual and wore her long, dark hair loose and tousled, thrusting her hands in her pockets as she walked.

Although this is Suri's first birthday since her famous parents announced that they were divorcing last year, the little one seemed completely relaxed as she wandered along.
She spent some catch up time with the Oblivion actor last Thursday when they were spotted walking together in a park in Westchester, New York.
Speaking about his daughter's birthday on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, he said that they'd already celebrated together:
'Done already. All done. I take care of the kids early. You'll know, you have to plan ahead for these things. It's all done and all celebrated,' he said.
