Dwayne Johnson emergency: The Rock has Emergency hernia surgery

Dwayne Johnson popularly known as The Rock is hurting some as he had to undergo emergency hernia surgery on the evening of Monday, April 22, 2013, according to E! online. Johnson has been scheduled to promote his newest flick "Pain & Gain," but that isn't possible right now for the man that so many fans know as The Rock.

Monday night was the Los Angeles premiere of "Pain & Gain," and Johnson was noticeably absent.

Michael Bay, director of "Pain & Gain," was on the red carpet on Monday night, and it was known that something was wrong. Bay didn't reveal everything at the time, but did speak about one of the stars of his newest movies.

"Dwayne's hurt tonight," Bay told us on the red carpet. "He was pushing it too hard. [ He] needs to grow up and stop wrestling 300-pound men."

The rep of Dwayne Johnson revealed the info about the emergency hernia surgery.

The Rock was scheduled to be a part of WWE "Monday Night Raw" that took place the day after he lost to John Cena at "WrestleMania 29." He didn't show up and it began lots of rumors, but he confirmed on Twitter that he had been injured.

No-one knew exactly how serious things were, but they do now.
