When Lydia Bright was on The Only Way is Essex, she was the girl that was happy to be pale and interesting.
But as she stepped out looking like she had overdone it on the fake tan, it became clear that she has since turned her back on her promise to never become as orange as some of her ex-castmates.
The 22-year old popped out to a local branch of Costa Coffee wearing a hot citrus coloured frock that perfectly blended with the hue of her skin.
Oh dear: Lydia Bright certainly lived up to her name when she stepped out in an orange dress
The brightness of her tan was accentuated by the pair of white ankle socks that peeked out from above her black ankle boots.
It was a surprise to see her such a dark shade, as last year she told Now Magazine that despite using sunbeds as a teen, she was happy being pale.
Back on the tan: Lydia seems to be dressing more like a stereotypical Essex girl than ever with her bright tan and OTT make-up
Feeling better: Lydia has been unwell this week so was pleased to be back at work
'Although I love the feeling of being in the sun and like having a glow in the summer, my skin can easily dry out. Plus, I think Tom likes me pale.'
Lydia quit the hit ITV2 reality show to concentrate on her relationship with her ex-footballer boyfriend Tom Kilbey.
The couple had struggled to deal with the constant trouble making and abuse hurled at pretty Lydia by her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent, who cheated on her.
Lydia had been working in her shop, Bella Sorella, in Loughton when she nipped out to pick up some refreshments, perhaps an orange juice or lemon slice.

All one colour: Lydia made a rare fashion faux-pas when she stepped out looking as orange as her dress
She was probably excited about eating something after she began the week with food poisoning.
'Feeling so much better I can actually leave the house and get back to work @BellaSorella251 here I come,' she tweeted on Tuesday morning.
As well as selling homeware, cakes and clothing from the popular shop, Lydia is having to oversee building work as the business expands.
Soon customers will also be able to make the most of a new beauty room and make up bar which will help people achieve the Essex look - it is not know if there will also be a section dedicated to spray tans.
