David Beckham negotiated a discount of nearly 90% on his suite at a top Paris hotel, it was claimed yesterday.It is believed he is paying £1,711 a night for his temporary home at the Bristol.The Imperial Suite is usually £14,544, which pays for a kitchen, three bathrooms and a dining room that seats 12.Beckham, 37, who is worth £200million, signed for Paris Saint-Germain in February.There have been claims he is staying in a hotel and giving his football wages to charity to avoid paying French tax.News site purepeople said: “The Spice Boy was offered a nice discount.”PSG’s sporting director Leonardo confirmed Beckham did not pay the “advertised amount” for the hotel.Le Parisien newspaper said the Necker Hospital for Children will soon receive a large sum, paid through PSG.Lawyer Mathieu Le Tacon said: “Presumably, PSG didn’t want to risk this being reclassified as indirect wages.”
