Looks like Shia LaBeouf's fitness kick has got the best of him.
The controversial actor was spotted limping his way around New York on Tuesday with a medical boot on his left leg.
Shia has been hitting the gym hard recently bulking up his normally skinny frame.
Despite being hurt the Transformers star still stopped into his kick boxing gym on Tuesday.
It is not known whether the actor still worked out but he limped out of the building where the gym is located wearing his usual - albeit unusual looking - training apparel of a pair of tight brown tracksuit pants and a NYPD sweater, the later being slightly ironic considering he has found himself on the wrong side of the law a number of times.
No rest: The Transformers actor was seen emerging from his boxing studio despite his injured foot
Until
last week Shia had been training hard with WBO Middleweight Champion
boxer Peter Quillian and had even flashed his newly defined abs for a
photo with the champ.
However, the actor has since damaged his ankle and been forced to take things a bit easier while wearing the boot.
On March 18, the Indian Jones star posted his first picture of his injury. Shia posted a picture on his twitter wearing just a basic strap at the time saying, 'Unbeknownst to most, Einstein started down the road of pro-basketball before an ankle injury diverted him to science.'
The actor then posted two more pictures of his now booted foot along side the feet of people dressed up as cartoon characters including Minnie Mouse and the Cookie Monster.
Shia's new fitness kick seems to be just for the star's own amusement as he does not have any upcoming roles in the works.
The actor's 2012 filmed movie, The Company That You Keep - a thriller centred on a former Weather Underground activist who goes on the run from a journalist who has discovered his identity, which also stars Robert Redford - is to be released in June.
The actor may be working out just to give himself something to do as he was recently dumped from his Broadway play Orphans due to creative differences with Alec Baldwin.
Shia was all set to star into the eagerly-anticipated production when rumours of friction between the actors emerged, culminating in LaBeouf's withdrawal from the project.
Based around his early life, the comic may raise a few eyebrows as the star claims through the images that he was discriminated against for being white.
'BOOFY (is) a new free comic about my childhood,' Shia said on Twitter, posting a link to the 'short memoir in the style of the movie comics from the late 30s'.
'It's 1996. It's five years after Rodney King. Two years after OJ. Were (sic) at the 32nd St school off Normandie.
'I'm Shia, the only white kid in 6th grade.'
Through his drawings the star claims he was offered drugs on the bus, discriminated against by the school's staff and beaten.
