Catherine Tyldesley has split from her toyboy lover Sam Witter, after telling him she was 'desperate to start a family'.
Earlier this month, Coronation Street star Catherine, 29, spoke about her desire to have children, admitting she wanted 'a big family.'
But according to sources, her confession to led to a series of blazing rows with her 22-year-old boyfriend, who is also her personal trainer and business partner.

Now friends say their break-up has
become 'messy' as they own a company together, Dream Partners Limited,
and had planned to bring out fitness DVDS later this year.'Cath is at a stage where she wants to settle down and Sam is still only 22 so he just isn't ready for that sort of commitment.'

Catherine,
who credited Sam with helping her slim down to a size 10 as recently as
last week, told pals the split was a mutual decision and added both
were upset at the news.The slim blonde, who plays Eva Prince in the hit ITV soap, started dating Sam early last year and the pair frequently gushed over Twitter their love for one another.
On Thursday a joint account @SamandCath, where they frequently tweeted each other loving messages, had vanished but it is unclear what will happen to their company - their website SamandCath.com still appeared to be working on Friday morning.
