They were enjoying a fun-filled family day out which saw them indulge their sweet tooths in chocolate heaven.
And Liz Hurley appeared to have thrown herself so into the spirit of the occasion so much that she gained inspiration for her daytime ensemble from a bar of Dairy Milk.
Looking effortlessly stylish in her purple belted mac, the 47-year-old actress seemed to be in great spirits as she joined her cricketer fiance Shane Warne and their respective children on a day out at Cadbury World in Bournville, Birmingham, on Good Friday.
Smiling broadly as she shook the hand of a Cadbury employee, Liz seemed to be excited at the prospect of indulging in a decadent afternoon of chocolate tasting.
Writing on her Twitter page later in the day, she said: 'Just back from Cadbury World. The kids in chocolate heaven......'
'It was a normal family visit for Liz and Shane and they did not ask for any special treatment. They just seemed to enjoy themselves along with all our other visitors.
'It was not a celebrity event. It was very low key and that’s how they wanted it to be. They did chose one of our busiest days to book, they seemed happy to mix with other visitors.'
In addition to sampling the chocolate on offer at the factory, Liz, Shane and their brood would have no doubt enjoyed a number of rides at Cadbury World and learned how the tasty treat is made.
Liz previously told You magazine of her new family unit: 'Shane makes me happy. We have a lot of fun together, we laugh a lot and that’s very important to me. I couldn’t put up with ‘serious’ for too long.
'My family and my new family with Shane and his kids are what’s important. His children are really beautiful, sweet and affectionate.
'They get on brilliantly with Damian, and as an only child, it’s great for him to have them around when they come to stay. I love having a lot of people in the house – the more the merrier.'
