On March 15, 2013, an important Arizona court hearing regarding the Jodi Arias trial was canceled due to a personal matter that involved an attorney, according to HLN.
The hearing was reportedly to take place so Judge Sherry Stephens could determine whether testimony from psychologist Richard Samuels about premeditated murder and crimes committed under the heat of passion would be allowed.

On Thursday, psychologist Richard Samuels testified for the defense, saying Arias is basically a peace-loving woman who does not have clear memories of what happened on the day Alexander died because she is suffering from post traumatic stress disorder.
The hearing is now slated to take place on Monday afternoon, reports HLN.

Arias, 32, is charged with the 2008 murder of Alexander, 30. He was stabbed over two dozen times, was shot in the head, and his throat was slashed. She claims she killed him in self-defense, but during the trial Arias has testified she does not remember much about the confrontation the two had that eventually led to his death.
